The Atwood Hotel San Diego - Seaworld/Zoo – Hotel near airport in San Diego

My stay was a mix of ups and downs. The location was awesome, close to everything I wanted to visit, but noise from the freeway was disturbing. The rooms were nice and clean, but the patio furniture wasn't practical. The service was friendly overall, but some issues were not adequately addressed. Dining had its drawbacks, but the fried oysters were a highlight.

The hotel had a very modern feel and smelled clean, indicating a recent remodel. The private patio was a nice touch, although there was a cleanliness issue in one of the rooms. The service was exceptional, with staff going above and beyond to be helpful. The location was fantastic, with easy access to attractions if you have a car. The dining experience was good, though with some confusion about breakfast. Overall, a great stay with a few minor hiccups.

The dining experience was good with delicious dishes, but I had to buy at the restaurant, and there was an unexpected $60 hold fee. Overall, the hotel provides good value for money.
